Mario has been a beloved tennis pro at our Berkshires wellness resort for 18 years. Repeat guests return looking forward to their next session and game with Mario. He's passionate about teaching and watching guests get better. Mario offers individualized sessions where he tailors specific training and plans to help each guest improve and move with balance.

He has much experience working with professional athletes and skilled tennis players. With that said, Mario loves teaching the games of tennis and pickleball to all levels. In fact, Mario finds the times when introducing racket sports to guests, to be especially rewarding. He also loves helping those with injuries to find their way back to the court. One of his most inspiring experiences was working with a guest who had lost sight in one of her eyes. Helping her to improve hand-eye-coordination and bolster confidence and the mindset to keep playing the game she loves, was an honor.

During his down time, Mario can often be found, where else, but on a tennis or pickleball court with friends. He has a passion for hockey and politics. And of course, he is a sports fanatic and loves watching and attending hockey games. His words to live by are simple but important: “Know your limits.”
